We change the whole menu every week, because everything is made fresh. A lot of it starts in the Saloon’s organic garden, the basil, the heirloom tomatoes, the herbs.
Coffee We Roast Ourselves
We roast our Saloon Roast every week, single origin Brazilian beans. Try the Sweet Bourbon Brew, made with my homemade syrup and bourbon from the distillery right here in town.
Live Music Most Mornings
Local musicians play while you eat. Around here, breakfast comes with acoustic guitar, and sometimes a fiddle if you’re lucky.
I’m Michelle, and I’ve been feeding folks here in Bourbon for over five years.
Everything is still made the slow way, homemade, with ingredients we grow in the garden or find close to home.Pull up a chair at the big community table, listen to whoever’s playing that morning, and stay as long as you like.
Travelers from all over the world get off Route 66 and tell us this is the America they came looking for. We just call it home.

The Family Behind the Saloon
When you walk in, I’ll probably be the one taking your order. I like to learn your name and where you’re headed. That’s half the fun of this place.
The people who work here are the ones making the magic happen: cooking your food from scratch, bringing it to your table, and treating you like they’ve known you for years.
Traveling alone, bringing the whole family, or just tired from the road: come on in. Sit down and let us take care of you.
Come as strangers, leave as family.
The Saloon Family Family Owned & Operated | Bourbon, MO
Because everything is made fresh and from scratch, and I cook with what’s in season and what the garden gives us. Check the menu page or our Facebook before you come so you know what’s waiting for you.
Is there a wait?
Sometimes, and we think it’s worth it. We’re not a fast food restaurant, and that’s the point. Everything is made to order, and I take time with every guest at the counter. Grab a board game off the shelf, sink into a couch, join the long table, and listen to the music. You won’t be rushed here.
Do you have gluten free options?
Yes, every single week, and we take celiac seriously. We keep a dedicated Celiac Cart with its own panini maker, toaster, and dishes washed in a flour-free sink. Keto and other dietary needs too. Just ask. Everyone deserves to eat really good food.
Can I bring my dog?
Please do! Our covered patio is dog friendly, and we make Pupcakes, a little cupcake created just for dogs. Your furry family is welcome here.
When is the live music?
Nearly every day we’re open, with local musicians on our indoor Saloon Stage, or out on the patio stage when the weather’s nice. It’s one of everyone’s favorite things about the Saloon, ours included.
Do you take to-go orders?
We sure do. Call (573) 668-0108 and we’ll have it ready when you pull up. A smart move on busy weekends.
